Makes 8 servings
INGREDIENTS:
8 Bar-S Beef Bun Size Franks (1 pack)
8 hot dog buns
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 yellow onion, sliced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
PREPARATION:
Grill the franks for 8-10 minutes on medium-high heat, rotating occasionally.
While the franks are grilling, place the sliced onion and vegetable oil in a medium skillet.
Sauté on high heat for several minutes or until golden-brown, then drain the oil.
Add a scoop of sautéed onions and one frank to each bun.
Top off with 2-3 tablespoons of barbeque sauce and a scoop of shredded cheddar cheese.
Serve with your favorite chips.
