BBQ Dogs

Makes 8 servings

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 Bar-S Beef Bun Size Franks (1 pack)
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil

PREPARATION:

  1. Grill the franks for 8-10 minutes on medium-high heat, rotating occasionally.
  2. While the franks are grilling, place the sliced onion and vegetable oil in a medium skillet.
  3. Sauté on high heat for several minutes or until golden-brown, then drain the oil.
  4. Add a scoop of sautéed onions and one frank to each bun.
  5. Top off with 2-3 tablespoons of barbeque sauce and a scoop of shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Serve with your favorite chips.
